A small gap now can become a much bigger problem later.

Maths topics build on one another. If fractions, decimals, percentages or negative numbers are not secure, later algebra and problem-solving become much harder.

Most maths programs only push forward - new skill, new skill, new skill. That works for a short time, but without review, even mastered topics fade before exams.

MathsHarbour uses spaced repetition: after your child masters a skill, we automatically schedule short review sessions at exactly the right intervals. First after two weeks, then a month, then longer and longer as the memory strengthens.

Each review takes around five minutes. Each one makes the skill harder to forget. By the time exams arrive, mastered skills are genuinely solid - not just "covered last term."

Designed by an Australian secondary maths teacher.

MathsHarbour was built by a secondary mathematics teacher who spent years watching the same pattern repeat: students arrive in Year 7 with small, fixable gaps that nobody has noticed. Those gaps quietly compound through Years 8, 9 and 10 until the subject feels impossible.

The platform was designed to give parents the visibility that classroom teachers simply cannot provide - not just a score, but an understanding of which specific skills are missing, why they matter, and what to work on first.

MathsHarbour is aligned to the Australian Curriculum version 9 and currently covers Year 7 in full. Year 8 content is in development.
